Founded by Maria Shriver and named for the Roman goddess who graces the California State Seal, The Minerva Awards honor women who have stepped forward and changed our world with their courage, strength and wisdom. Presented at The Women’s Conference®, the awards celebrated women who work to make this world a more compassionate, tolerant, and just place. The permanent exhibit chronicling the lasting legacies of the winners resides at the California Museum in Sacramento.
