Work with us.

West Office’s exhibit development process is tailored to each project’s unique needs.

Design typically proceeds through several phases, with client feedback throughout. We begin with master planning and conceptual design and conclude with final design and fabrication management.

Throughout the process, our experienced staff partners with our clients to accomplish their goals. The result is exhibitions and experiences of exceptional quality and innovative design.

Design Services

West Office has assembled a range of expertise that provides us with an unusual breadth of in-house capabilities. In addition to three-dimensional design, we offer project management, content development, text writing, graphic design, multimedia design, computer rendering, and fabrication and installation monitoring. Over the years, we’ve honed our skills in designing interactives, using artifacts to tell a story, developing science and technology content, and designing for accessibility and sustainability.

Having all these capabilities under one roof allows us to conceive and execute a complete and coherent visitor experience, seamlessly integrating style and substance.

Architect Collaboration

West Office values a strong relationship between the exhibition design team and the architectural team. We recognize the inherent challenges and opportunities that come with designing new museum experiences that need to be integrated into the building. For this reason, we have developed measures to deliver exhibit infrastructure needs to the architect in a timely and efficient manner. This includes fast tracking the development of exhibits that have a large infrastructure impact, as well as designing systems that allow for maximum flexibility in the future.
