The Body and Brain Gallery at the Ningbo Science Center is one of China’s most innovative science centers. West Office designed the concept of six “Labs” for the gallery that takes visitors on an adventure to Health Camp, where they learn about their mental and physical health through engaging, interactive exhibit experiences. They follow their chosen path through the camp, exploring the variety of activities with the goal of gaining and maintaining personal health. Along the way, characters appear on screens and graphics, encouraging visitors to strive for physical and mental health as they learn about the function of their brains and bodies. Screen characters are diverse, young and old, and male and female, making it easy for different visitors to identify with them.
